Since the Sun-Times referred to him as the “art czar”, I guess I will too. Although, I worry that he does not have an official title yet. Anyway, it is good to see new blood in the Chicago Public Schools top fine arts position considering many new hires want to make a good impression and they are more likely to push for reform and change. I’m not sure where that leaves CPS as a whole in terms of the arts, but I wish him all the best.
