Mr. Mills Blog

I’ll make this short since I’m sure many people are looking forward to spring break and don’t have time to read a blog. Not a lot new to report this week. With the 3rd grade, we talked about their experience using the computer as a drawing tool and then looked at a cool drawing and dancing site called Pictaps. The 4th grade were writing more stories on their blog, talking about surrealism, and also looking at Pictaps. We will be revisiting surrealism after Ms. Lager finishes her student teaching. The 5th grade finished up their Warhol portraits and also worked on sonobe cubes. The directions can be found here. The 6th grade finished up their proportion collages.

As I eluded to above, Ms. Lager will begin student teaching after we get back from spring break. She will be teaching all of the grades K-6 until early May. We wish her good luck and we are excited to have her at Murray.
